Those heavy duty bags that the grains come in are actually three layers of brown paper. Cut the bag apart and save all that paper for future use. You can iron it if you want it really smooth, and can then use it for a country-look in using it as wrapping paper with cute ribbon. I also use it for mailing packages, covering a table for a craft with children, and for various craft projects that need brown paper.

I use the 7-grain rolled mix as a morning cereal. 1/3 to 1/2 cup of mix with milk, raisins and/or bananas heated in the microwave for about 2 minutes makes a wonderful hearty, economical cereal.
I've also used it to make a great granola.

I found out by trial and error that the 7-grain mix makes a very cake-y kind of bread. I think it is best utilized for muffins and cookies.

When I have a recipe that calls for honey, I measure the oil first. Then I measure the honey in the same cup. It slides right out of the measuring cup!
